Description
507 - MILLER CT 7 NGC MS64 Nicely toned and nearly Proof Like. Alfred Robinson Banker, Hartford Connecticut 1861 struck in Silver with Value Me As You Please Higley Three Pence reverse. Long planned to be added as a Civil War token in the new Third Edition of the Store Card book, it has recently been shown that they were included in auctions that took place shortly before the Civil War began. The NGC holder lists with the proposed Fuld number CT210A-1f. A raw MS63 example of the much more available Copper variety realized $275 in our December 2017 sale. From the Steve Tanenbaum, John Ford and F. C. C. Boyd collections earlier from Stack's May 2006 sale at $977.50. (2000-3000)
