297 - MN720A-4a R8 NGC MS65 RB 50% Red. F. W. Andrews Dry Goods & c., Rochester Minnesota 1863. Very rare variety from a very scarce town and state. One of just three examples which we are aware. A Raw MS62 example of the more available R7 -3a variety sold for $770 in our June 2005 sale. From the Steve Tanenbaum collection earlier from Herman Aqua and so noted on the NGC holder.
