89 - MI-3-25B R7 NGC MS64 20% Bright all on the obverse with nicely toned reverse. J. A. Leggat Sutler 3rd Mich. Cavalry 25 Check 25 Cents Sutler Goods. Struck in Brass and one of the finest known from the state. Very scarce state for Sutlers, particularly in Uncirculated condition. We sold a raw VF for $488 in our March 2010 auction. Formerly MI A-25B. From the Steve Tanenbaum, Byron Hoke and Henry Chapman collections. (2000-3000)
