145 - IN860B-1a R8 NGC MS63 BN Nice toning and luster. Blowney & Johnson Composition Roofing, South Bend Indiana. Indiana Primitive, much scarcer than the -2a variety. An NGC MS63 BN example of the somewhat overrated R8 -1a variety sold for $600 in our April 2018 auction. From the Wayne Stafford and Steve Tanenbaum collections, earlier from Walt Korzick in June 1993. (750-1000)
