135 - IN630A-12a R7 NGC MS63 BN Nice toning, struck from shallow obverse die with some weak letters as always. H. D. Higgins Jeweler & Optician, Mishawaka with rare Union Star reverse die, number 1383. Higgins was the maker of the so-called Indiana Primitive tokens. From the Wayne Stafford, Steve Tanenbaum, Dave Bowers, Urban Rudner and Richard McFerran collections. Earlier from our June 2013 sale where it sold for $1,000. (1500-2000)
