108 - IL472A-1i R9 NGC MS66 90% Bright with very nice luster. Ellsworth & Halsey Ladies Wear, Lacon Illinois 1864 struck in Tin plate. Very scarce town that is quite rare in Uncirculated condition. A Raw MS63 of the more available -1a variety sold for $762.10 in our July 2006 auction. More recently a PCGS MS66 of the Unique -2d variety brought $1,825 in our February 2021 sale. (1000-1500)
