74 - 259/445 j R9 PCGS MS66 90% or more Bright with flashy cartwheel luster. Trade And Commerce with sailing ship. Coppers 20% Premium struck in German Silver and likely one of just two known. At one time this die combination was listed in both Nickel and German Silver, both being listed as Unique. When Nickel was eliminated as a composition for Civil War tokens and combined with German Silver the rarity rating was changed to R9. From the Lumberton and Larkin Wilson collections, earlier from Bowers & Merena's November 1995 auction as Nickel/German Silver where it brought $440. Called 259/445 e (unlisted White Metal) on PCGS's label. (500-750)
