42 - 146/472 j R8 PCGS MS64 70% Bright a bit weak opposite Burnside's head as usual. 1864 General Burnsides Rhode Island First In The Field muled with 1837 East Boston Hard Times token reverse struck in German Silver. A similarly struck PCGS MS65 sold for $3,000 in our February 2021 catalog sale. From the Lumberton collection, earlier from Bowers & Merena's 1996 auction. (1500-2000)
