26 - 92/105 d R9 NGC MS66 70% Bright with fiery luster, likely struck on a filed down US Cent. 1863 Indian Head with George Washington bust within Star on the reverse struck in Copper Nickel. The reverse is signed E. Sigel 177 William NY. Very rare die combination, not even listed in Copper. From the Lumberton and Larkin Wilson collections, earlier from Bowers & Merena's November 1995 sale. (500-750)
