384 - HT-280 / Low 360 R7 NGC AU55 BN Benjamin Hooks 276 Broome Street Corner Allen St. with bust of Benjamin Franklin signed Bale on reverse. Benjamin Hooks is listed as a Hatter at 276 Broome Street in the 1840 edition of Longworth's City Directory. Probably one of the finest known. Another NGC AU55 sold for $6,452.50 in StacksBowers August 2013 auction. From the Don Partrick collection from PCAC's June 2000 sale at $8,250. (6000-8000)
