298 - RI700F-1a R6 PCGS MS64 BN 10% original red mint luster, nearly all on the Tankard side; strike is a bit weak as usual opposite the Mug. Great cartwheel luster and attractive toning. H. Y. Lefevre Empire Saloon, Providence Rhode Island with popular reverse die 1294 featuring large beer tankard. This wonderfully crude token has backwards N's, S's and even a backwards 1. Rarely seen in high grades. An NGC MS64 BN brought $450 in our April 2018 auction. From the Chris Erlenwein collection. (500-750)
