296 - RI700D-5d R9 PCGS MS66 70% Bright. H. Dobson, Providence Rhode Island Union 1864 struck in Copper Nickel with very rare eagle and anchor reverse die 1191. The reverse die is by the same die sinker in the same unique style as the equally rare Hunting Dogs die 1285. We sold a Raw MS63 example of the German Silver version of this die combination in our July 2009 auction that realized $2,475. From the Dave Bowers, Steve Tanenbaum and Herman Aqua collections, in one of Dave's special holders with picture and facsimile signature. This is the current Fuld Plate token for reverse die 1191.
