152 - NY630 T-1bo R10 PCGS MS64 30% Bright. J.J. Diehl Undertaker 133 Essex St. New York 1863 struck in Brass over an 1860 dated Abraham Lincoln Presidential campaign token. Known as DeWitt AL 1860-59 it clearly shows palm leaves, an eagle and slogans Millions For Freedom Not One Cent For Slavery and Success To Republican Principles. Even the most common Diehl store cards have always been popular because they feature a coffin, a fairly morbid symbol to use for advertising during a war. This very impressive example is believed to be Unique. From the Dave Bowers and Rich Rossa collections, in one of Dave's special holders with picture and facsimile signature. (3000-4000)
