91 - IL200A-2a R9 NGC MS63 BN Obverse is quite attractive and overall very nice for the grade assigned. I. L. Ellwood, DeKalb Illinois Union 1863. Manufactured by Childs of Chicago. This is one of the few merchants who utilized two different die sinkers, the other, Bridgens of New York. Very rare variety, the first we have seen offered. A raw MS64 of the more available R8 -4a variety sold for $452 in our December 2010 auction. From the Lumberton and Steve Tanenbaum collections. (500-750)
