227 - WI510 C-1do R9 PCGS MS66 60% Bright with very nice cartwheel luster. Philip Best Lager Beer Empire Brewery, Milwaukee with picture of foaming beer mug. Struck over a Copper Nickel Indian Head Cent. The understrike is most visible with the reverse of the Cent on the Barrel side. Much of the outer wreath and a full shield are visible and using the shield as a guide, part of the Cent's date is visible opposite but not enough to identify the year. Very rare Wisconsin Over Cent. From the Dave Bowers, Bob Kraft and George Fuld collections, earlier from World Exonumia's September 1991 sale. (1500-2000)
