157 - OH168A-2a R9 PCGS MS64 RB 50% Red more so on the obverse. G. H. Fickardt & Co. Druggist, Circleville Ohio 1863 with Mercury Head reverse. Very rare variety, the first we have seen offered. From the Dave Bowers and George Fuld collections, earlier from Rossa & Tanenbaum. Reverse Die: 1124. (400-500)

Is that a bit of corrosion between the “A” and “R”? How severe?

It is a spot with central raised area. Slightly less obvious in person. It likely was not conserved so it might be somewhat diminished and slightly less noticeable, hopefully the raised portion going away. Overall a nice looking token.
