786 - Shell Card New York City Vichy Raw EF+ Vichy Spa and Mineral Water, Paris. Apparently a French version of the New York City shell card issued by Eisner and Mendelson Co.. The shell card appears to be from the same maker as the US version which is believed to have been issued in the 1890's. The shell side is very similar to Bowers NY-4900. An interesting "go along" that should inspire some additional research. From the Q. David Bowers collection. (50-75)
