465 - DR. / SHATTUCK'S / WATER CURE / WATERFORD / ME. On the obverse of an 1859-O Half Raw VF Coin GOOD+. Dr. William P. Shattuck was a physician specializing in cold water cures. This scarce counterstamp when seen is normally on a Large Cent or Quarter with the Half Dollars particularly rare, one of just five known.
