100 - 492/492 b Unlisted Raw EF Three grouse hunting scene, the center portion of Rhode Island Numismatic Society series die 492 struck in Brass on a very thin 19mm planchet rather than the normal 29mm. The reverse is an apparent full brockage mint error but also could be related to the Button die that inspired or actually struck the token series. It is interesting to note than the shared die in the series 481 is also known in 19mm size muled with "Lincoln" Redeemed die 134. A fascinating piece. From the Matt Westphal collection. (750-1000)
