69 - 153/0 fo1 Unlisted Raw AU Trace Bright struck of an 1838 Mexican Four Real coin VF or better. Benjamin Franklin struck over the obverse of an 1838 Mexican 4 Real unlisted as such and listed as Unique over a Silver coin (1799 Dollar). A Raw MS63 example over the much more available Large Cent dated 1841 brought $1,400 in our October 2011 sale. From the John J. Ford collection earlier our February 2014 auction where it realized $900. (1500-2000)
