248 - IN710A-2a R7 PCGS MS63 RB 50% Red more so on the obverse. A. M. Davis Dry Goods, Groceries, Crockery, Drugs & c., New Paris Indiana 1863. Rare single merchant town, a Raw EF brought $1,075 in our July 2012 auction. This is the only Uncirculated example from this town we have seen offered. Once owned by Steve Tanenbaum, he believed it was struck over another token and this piece is the reason for the R10 -2ao variety is listed. From the Dave Bowers and Steve Tanenbaum collections earlier from Richard Coslet June 1979. Reverse Die: 1161. (3000-4000)
