612 - MILLER NY 340A Raw MS62 30% Bright. Rare and unlisted muling of Edwin Forrest with Virtue Liberty & Independence reverse struck in White Metal with Plain edge on a thicker than normal planchet. The reverse is seemingly a different die missing the delicate shield around the ampersand. However, many of the same die cracks are visible indicating the shield was a later addition. From the Dave Bowers collection. (200-300)
