592 - MILLER NY 158 Raw VF Details Tiny dents. Chisebrough Stearns 37 Nassaw St., N-York struck in Brass with Reeded edge. This is from the not pictured fourth obverse with both the merchant and street name spelled incorrectly and so-called Larger Ornaments. All the outer lettering and ornaments seem larger and more closely spaced but to us the most obvious difference to Miller NY 157 is the scroll work after ST which end much closer to CO. Though not mentioned in Rulau this is from a third reverse with the leaves above rather than proceeding the S in Silk. Very scarce variety. From the Dave Bowers collection. (25-50)
