535 - LOW 320 / HT-381 R5 Raw AU Traces of original luster. A strip of Brass impurites in the planchet most visible on the obverse as a bright and lusterous yellow strip, a very dramatic mint error. A. Loomis Foreign Liquors and Wines, Cleveland Ohio featuring a whiskey barrel. Any Loomis token with original mint luster is unusual and by adding the mint error aspect it is truly unique. A NGC AU55 BN brought $850 in our January 2015 auction. From the Dave Bowers and Steve Tanenbaum collections earlier purchased on eBay. (1000-1500)
