A tavern in Philadelphia Pennsylvania was located at the NE corner of Jefferson Avenue and Federal Street in the 1860's. A very impressive counterstamp of possible Civil War vintage. From the Dave Bowers collection from Steve Tanenbaum and Charles Kirtley 1981. (300-400)
