373 - THE / HENRY / CLAY / PEN on the obverse of 1860 Cent Raw VF Coin GOOD. The Henry Clay Pen was a brand name of a steel pen made by the C. C. Wright & Company of New York and first introduced in 1844 in the Evening Post From New York. Apparently the brand proved popular and lasted until at least the 1860's outliving Wright himself.
