Billiods Brewer Due The Bearer 25 Cents in Beer, Cincinnati Ohio struck in Brass on a large thin sutler style planchet with maker John Stanton backstamp. In John Ostendorf's book he dates this token to late 1862 or early 1863 based on Cincinnati directory research. Very rare single variety merchant, just the fifth example we have recorded.
