325 - ADMIT / TO / WOOD'S / MINSTRELS / 444 Bd WAY / NY on the obverse and reverse of a 1788 Mexico City Spanish Two Real NGC AG3 Coin AG or better, counterstamp VF. These counterstamped 2 Reals were used as 25 Cent admission tickets to H. Wood's minstrels and Ethiopian band that performed at 444 Broadway from 1855 to 1857 when they moved to 561 & 563 Broadway and instead issued struck silver tokens to serve as admission.
