292 - PARISIAN / VARIETIES / 16. St & B'WAY. N. Y. on the obverse of an 1874 Arrows Seated Half Dollar NGC AU58 Coin AU, counterstamp EF. According to Rulau Parisian Varieties was an erotic show of nubile young ladies in 1875 and 1876. This counterstamp is known on a number of different Half Dollars making for a challenging collection by date and mint mark. This is the highest grade host coin we have seen offered.
