278 - C-L on the obverse of an 1803 Half Cent. Raw VF Coin VG. Likely the stamp of Silversmith Charles Leach who was active in Boston 1765-1814. The mark shown in Marks of Early American Silversmiths by Ensko is very similar but does not have the period separating the initials. (100-150)
