232 - PA750Lb-2e R9 NGC MS62 Lightly toned. Wm. Idler Coin Dealer 111 N. Ninth Street, Philadelphia struck in White Metal with very rare (unique?) reverse die 1093A engraved and signed by Robert Lovett. Only recognized as a Civil War token in the last 30 years and now officially included in the new Store Card book. Rare merchant and very rare reverse die, thought to be Unique by Steve Tanenbaum and we are unaware of another. From the Mark Cramer, Steve Tanenbaum, Spence Radnich and Lionel Rudduck collections earlier from our July 2014 auction where it realized $4,500 and still earlier from Bowers & Merena in 1991. Called PA750La-2e(fp) on the NGC holder, a prior designation. The current Plate Token for die 1093A in the new Store Card book. (6000-8000)
