226 - PA750E-2e R9 NGC MS62 40% Bright with many interesting die cracks on each side. M. F. Beirn Magnolia Hotel, Philadelphia struck in White Metal with very rare Franklin reverse die 1150. One of just two we have seen offered. From the Mark Cramer and Henry South collections earlier from our September 2010 auction where it brought $883.30 and still earlier from Kagin's August 1985 sale. (1000-1500)
