689 - Bolen JAB-30 WM Raw MS60 20% Bright with some minor Tin Pest. Libertas Americana J. A. Bolen 1867 struck in White Metal 25.6mm, 2.6mm thick. Said to be the only example struck in White Metal (3 per AJN). A MS62 example in Brass also though to be Unique realized $3,300 in our August 2015 auction. From the Steve Tanenbaum and Henry South collections, earlier from Chuck Kirtley's March 1990 sale. (750-1000)
