552 - HT-E464A R7 Raw VF Coin VG. W. H. SCOTT twice intersecting on the obverse of an 1828 Half Cent. Rulau attributes this stamp to William H. Scott a dry goods merchant from Philadelphia. We sold a similar example on the more available Large Cent planchet for $121 in our January 2015 sale. From the Maurice Shepherd and Gregory Brunk collections, earlier from World Exonumia's November 2006 sale. (200-300)
