510 - LOW 249 / HT-269 R7 NGC AU55 BN W. Field Manufacturer of Hats, Caps and Fancy Furs, New York. Very rare merchant. Superior to the AU with minor problems that brought $7,500 in our December 2012 auction. Also in our opinion the finest of the Ford examples, though NGC called on AU58. From the John Ford collection earlier from F. C. C. Boyd March 1958. (8000-12000)
