380 - W. BROWN on the obverse of 1848 Large Cent. NGC AU55 BN Coin VF. Rulau lists as Pennsylvania silversmith and watchmaker William Brown active 1823-37 and consequently assigns him to the Hard Times era as HT-A401. This is apparently later, Rulau states that from 1845-49 he may have been from Albany New York. Brunk 1215. From the Dr. W. Stokes Houck III collection. (75-100)
