346 - RI700F-1a R6 Raw AU With strong strike on a thicker than normal 2.3mm planchet. Some light planchet flaws on the reverse near the date. H. Y. Lefevre Empire Saloon, Providence with popular reverse die 1294 featuring large beer tankard. This crude token, with backwards N's, S's and even a backwards 1, is rarely seen in high grades. A normally weak AU sold for $200 in our July 2014 auction. From the Dr. W. Stokes Houck III collection. (200-300)
