65 - 165/400 a R5 Raw AU+ The Union Must and Shall be Preserver Jackson with shield reverse. The reverse is Higgin's Indiana Primitive version of Scovill's Union shield die 163. The present specimen is unusually well struck and reveals that Union is not spelled out with letters, but is only represented by a series of thick vertical lines. An EF brought $130 in our July 2009 sale. (200-300)
