627 - Bolen JAB-W-08 WM Raw MS63 40% Bright and nearly Proof Like. Woodward muling of Bolen's Washington portrait and Merriam's Apollo bust struck in White Metal 27.8mm, 2.0 to 2.6mm thick. Very rare, just 5 struck per Woodward's December 1882 auction catalog. We sold a similar example in our January 2015 sale for $950. Baker 540E From the Dave Bowers reference set, earlier from PCAC's December 2003 sale where it realized $805. (1000-1500)
