472 - LOW 338 / HT-230 R7 NGC XF45 John Barker Dealer In Music Prints American Repository Of Fine Arts with bust of George Washington. Exceedingly rare, missing from the Dice-Hicks sale and nearly every other major sale of Hard Times token. Rulau estimates 5 to 9 known and this likely includes the three (two slightly damaged) in the Ford collection. We sold one of the Ford pieces, a VF+ with a 5 scratched into the obverse field, in our February 2014 sale for $2,400. From the John Ford collection. (6000-8000)
