456 - LOW 228 / HT-405 R6 Raw AU 20% Bright with 80% original Gilt plating remaining. Catch Club, Philadelphia Pennsylvania struck in Gilt Brass 29mm and unlisted this size. As a group, despite the many variations, Catch Club tokens are rare. This is one of the largest and nicest examples we have seen offered with no evidence of being used as a button as many were. From the Steve Tanenbaum collection earlier from Mike Miller April 2010. (1500-2000)
