387 - A. C. GREEN on both sides of a R. G. Tyler Detroit Michigan Civil War token. Raw EF Coin VG but flattened. Counterstamped Civil War tokens are fairly unusual. An A. C. Green Esq. of New York is listed in a 1863 Joint Documents of the State of Michigan as a contributor to the Library for the Asylum Soldiers' Aid Society in Detroit seemingly making this a possible Civil War token in its own right, though pinning down an exact date of issue could be difficult.
