Description
382 - W. COLLINS three times once in raised letter and twice incused, plus N-YORK twice incused on the other side of what appears to be a worn smooth Large Cent 27.8mm 11.6 grams. Raw VF Coin worn smooth. Rulau attributes this to New York silversmith William Collins who was active in the late 1820's to early 1830's. Apparently unique as this would appear the be the Tanenbaum specimen that Rulau refers to though not pictured and not consigned as such. Rulau Early NY 165 (300-400)
