551 - MILLER NY 948 NGC MS65 RB 80% Red. H. B. West's Famous Trained Dogs, New York struck in Copper with Plain edge and two dogs pulling man in a carriage on the obverse. Very popular and this Copper variety seems to be a bit scarcer than the Reeded edge Brass. Another less red MS64 brought $302.77 in our June 2013 auction. From the John Ford collection though not noted on slab as it was sold raw. (300-400)
