378 - WI960C-3a Unlisted Raw EF J. T. SMITH counterstamped on the obverse of an 1865 Indian Head Cent. Not listed in the new Store Card book as this stamp is known on coins dated well after the Civil War. Rulau lists this as being issued by Joseph T. Smith a jeweler from Schuylerville New York. Still Steve Tanenbaum elected to keep this with his Wisconsin Civil War token collection. From the Steve Tanenbaum, Chet Krause and Virgil Brand collections. (25-50)
