312 - OH165FQ-1b R9 Raw EF With small untoned area after SINN, not damaged. Wm. Sinn 5 Cents, Cincinnati Ohio. William E. Sinn was a Saloon keeper on Sycamore between 3rd and 4th Streets in the 1864 City Directory. Exceedingly rare merchant with only one to three known from each denomination. An example of the -3b variety in EF brought $1,250 in our December 2012 sale. From Stack's January 2009 sale where it realized $1,955. (1000-1500)
