257 - NJ555A-3d R9 Raw UNC Details Obverse is retoning from an old cleaning with some light hairlines. Likely struck from a filed down Copper-Nickel Cent with a number of the file marks still visible. J. L. Agens & Co. Newspapers, Newark New Jersey with George Washington reverse die 1137 struck in Copper-Nickel. Very rare variety, one of just two we have seen offered. From the Louis Kaufman collection. (400-500)
