750 - Bolen JAB-W- 5 UNC Details 50% Bright with some corrosion spot on store cards side mainly on the rim. The Father Of Our Country / R. Chamberlaine Norfolk struck in White metal 28mm. Woodward Mule of Bolen's George Washington JAB-14 obverse and Merriam's Chamberlaine store card reverse. Very rare, just 5 struck per Woodward's October 1884 auction catalog. Baker 526 and Rulau VA 10A From the Dave Bowers, Irving Schuster and John Ford collections. Said to be ex. Garrett but the plates don't match, perhaps Ford's downgrade. (300-400)
