751 - Bolen JAB-W-11 MS63 20% Red all on the Washington side. The Father Of Our Country / Copper Taken From The Ruins Of The Turpentine Works Newbern NC Destroyed By The Rebls March 14, 1862 struck in Copper 28mm. Woodward Mule of Bolen's George Washington JAB-14 obverse and Merriam's Newbern relic reverse. Very rare, only 3 to 5 estimated to have been struck. Only copper examples were struck making this an exceedingly rare die combination. Baker 621A and Rulau VA 10A From the Dave Bowers reference collection earlier from Rossa and Tanenbaum. (1500-2000)
