605 - MILLER PA 214 MS63 Or a bit better with 30% Red. William Idler Dealer In Coins, Philadelphia with copy of the reverse of a George Washington Half Dollar struck in Copper with a Plain edge. The examples with the Eagle reverse seem much scarcer than those with Washington's bust, perhaps indicating the preferences of the time. Tastes are still the same and examples with George Washington's portrait usually sell for more despite any rarity difference. Baker 544G From the Richard Crosby collection. (300-400)
